Maggie Joseph Falvey graduated from Stephen F. Austin High School in 1968 and attended the University of Texas School of Business at Austin where she studied marketing and fashion merchandising. With vast experience as a Realtor® that started in 1978 before opening her own firm in 1992, Maggie knows exactly what is involved in buying or selling a home, both emotionally and financially. She leads buyers and sellers to well-informed decisions by providing you with the facts, educating you about the process and helping you evaluate your choices. Her areas of expertise include relocation, buyer brokerage, residential sales brokerage, new homes, waterfront and luxury home sales.
Maggie's main objective is to make your real estate experience pleasant and rewarding. Her enthusiasm for her profession is reflected in her satisfied customers and clients who have become close friends. Maggie and her husband Dr. Tom Falvey are native Austinites. Her very special daughters Ashley Falvey and Cara Keenan and “superman” of a son-in-law and father Joe Keenan live in Austin as well. Cara and Joe Keenan, partners in FalveyKeenan, Realtors® have given her two very special “treasures”—her grandsons Aiden and Maddox! Cara & Joe are expecting their third son in July 2007!

Cara’s roots have been firmly planted in Austin, Texas since 1977; “I love this city!” With so much history and culture in Austin combined with the inspirational influence of her mother's real estate practice since 1978; she made a likely transition into the pursuit of a real estate career.
Cara’s background in high-tech sales developed her technological knowledge and ability to facilitate in-depth research, which is central to the real estate industry. In addition to adopting a skilled attention to detail while studying design at the University of Texas she has helped her clients and customers recognize and imagine possibilities in the homes they buy or sell and effectively prepare homes for the market.
In November of 2000 Cara earned her Texas Real Estate License, joined the Austin Board of Realtors®, and started her career with Maggie Falvey, her mother and broker. The company was Maggie Falvey, Realtors® at the time. It was a family owned company that would soon welcome Cara’s husband, Joe, and cousin, Jennifer, into the business. In Cara’s first year she produced over $2.9 million in sales and built many new friendships with her clients. With over 80% of her business coming from referrals and repeat clients; Cara realized quickly that she loved the business because it was built on relationships. Since 2000 Cara has increased her sales production by 270%.
Maggie Falvey, Realtors® had earned a very exclusive position with relocating local technology firms in 1998 which made the company highly referable to other large corporations relocating their staff. They assisted over 44 major businesses in Austin with relocation including Vignette, IBM, Dell, 3M, Motorola, Applied Materials, Pfizer Pharmaceuticals, AMD, Northrop Grumman, and the University of Texas. This success continued throughout the technology "boom" in Austin.
Seeking knowledge and education about the real estate industry has always been an integral part of Cara’s business ambition. In 2001 she earned the Accredited Buyer Representative Designation and in 2002 the GRI Designation. In 2006 she was awarded the coveted Certified Luxury Home Marketing Specialist Designation and was invited into the Million Dollar Guild with the Institute for Luxury Home Marketing. This same year her mother made Cara a full partner in the company and changed the company name to FalveyKeenan, Realtors®. Cara is currently participating in a Business Professionals Course through The Aji Network, a private educational institution. As a member of The Aji Network Cara uses uncommon knowledge and uncommon sense that she has learned in the course as a foundation for building competitive advantage, establishing and expanding her autonomy, creating her identity, increasing her company’s value and accumulating the ability to fulfill her ambitions to live a good life and perform in the top 1% of the marketplace.
Cara’s areas of expertise include residential buyer & seller representation, relocation, resale homes, new construction homes, waterfront property, gated or golf course communities, Central Austin, West Austin, South Austin, North Austin, downtown high-rise/loft living and luxury estates.
Her family has always been a driving force for her success in real estate and in life. In addition to the lifelong friendships Cara has built over the years in her real estate career, her husband and two boys are what keep her focused and grounded in reaching their ambitions.
Cara & Joe have been married since 2001. They have two beautiful sons, Aiden Thomas Keenan (born in August 2003) and Maddox Nicholas Keenan (born in July 2005). They are expecting their third boy in June 2007!
Plans for the future: “Over the next 5 years we plan to expand the company by hiring roughly 20 Realtors® that support our mission, have ambitions of their own to live a good life performing in the top 1%, and practicing real estate with the highest industry standards. I’m working to gain my broker’s license and earn the CRS designation by the end of 2008” says Cara.

Joe's goal as a real estate professional is to provide services that reflect the needs and expectations of customers and clients.
He knows that buyers and sellers benefit when their desires, motivations, and limitations have been established. That’s why Joe really zones in on the needs of his clients and narrows down their criteria to find their “dream home”.
As a graduate of the U.S. Air Force Academy, Joe’s accountability and discipline contribute to his appreciation for managing the details of each transaction. He has also earned his Masters of Business Administration from St. Edward’s University, which enables Joe to pass along financial insight to his clients.
His experience in an Army software development project for the University of Texas allowed Joe to master a wide array of technological fields key to a successful real estate career.
He understands that being tech-savvy can facilitate a transaction, but interpersonal relationships will remain the focus of the real estate industry. In addition, his knowledge of market conditions and trends are an important asset. Jennifer Joseph-Prenger, Realtor®

Jennifer Joseph-Prenger is a new addition to FalveyKeenan, Realtors®. Although new to the company, Jennifer has worked closely with clients of the Land Use and Government Affairs Section of Austin’s largest law firm, Clark, Thomas & Winters and is uniquely familiar with the complexities of commercial development in the Greater Austin area. Her broad relationship base with local and state politicians, affords Jennifer exceptional access and cooperation in navigating the commercial development industry in the area. She brings energy, commitment and resources to every project she works on.
